Driving home this afternoon the girls and I got to see a hot air balloon being inflated. We've seen balloons fly over the house before but it was really cool watching from the beginning. I just like this picture. I think I may try cropping it, converting it to b&w and framing it.

Fun in a Corn Field Maze

We spent a perfect fall afternoon romping around a corn field with friends. A nearby farm created a musical corn field maze with seven hidden musical stations. The "instruments" were made from found items such as old tractor parts, plastic buckets, pots, and bike parts. The girls had a blast. We finished with homemade cookies and cider from the farm's owner.

Isabel at School

Abby and Isabel are potting some plant rootings and clippings on a beautiful Septemebr afternoon. Instead of gifts at her party Abby asked each friend to bring her a plant clipping. So now they both have quite a selection of plants in thier rooms!
