On Wednesday we made the dough. On Thursday we baked the pieces.

The night before we assembled the houses. And on Saturday the fun began...

First we rolled and made the remainder of the dough into cookies and gingerbread men.

This afternoon Lisa came over for dinner and we celebrated Isabel's birthday.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

After our big snow day on Friday, we spent Saturday in town. We went to see the Ithaca Ballet's performance of the Nutcracker . This was Isabel's first live performance and she was mesmerized by the dancers. Abby loved it as much as last year and really followed the story line.

After the show we walked around The Commons and looked at all the ice sculptures, lights, and store displays. Yes it's as cold as we look...in the teens.
